Cam Ens - President & CEO
President and Co-Founder of NewRock Developments. Cam has 17 years of experience in the Development and Construction industry and brings a wide range of experience to NewRock, with a specialization in development, financing, and marketing. His responsibilities include Corporate Direction, Project Development, Site Selection, Project Financing, Cash Planning, and Sales and Marketing.
Rob Whitten - V.P. of Corporate Development
VP of Operations and Co-Founder of NewRock Developments. Rob has over seventeen years of experience in the construction and development industry. This experience ranges from management of single family housing projects, tendering and general contracting of private and public projects, construction management of many multi-family condominium projects and construction management of assisted living and care facilities. Responsibilities include the coordination of the design and development process with the planning and consultant teams, project scheduling, project budget preparation and monitoring, coordinating with the local planning and building authorities, tendering, cost control and overall leadership of the construction team.
Kirk Wright - Chief Financial Officer
Kirk’s background was largely in Financial Services with extensive experience in Project Lending with a major chartered Bank. He has been part of the NewRock team since its inception. His responsibilities include Senior and Subordinated Debt Financing negotiations, accounting, tax planning, land acquisition and feasibility studies, Liaison with Municipal, CMHC and other government agencies, sales management and human resources.
Cory Strobel - Development & Construction Service Manager
Cory brings over 18 years of project management experience in various industries and several years of Land Development experience to NewRock Developments and has been a part of the NewRock team since 2013. One of his primary roles is working on land development projects including coordinating with all levels of government agencies and other authorities to obtain approvals for projects as well as working with the construction team throughout the lifecycle of the project. Cory also oversees the Customer Service team and policies for NewRock, working with other team members with the goal of providing the best customer service possible to our customers.
Dawn Brown - Accounting Manager
Dawn has been with NewRock Developments Inc. since its inception and has over twenty years of experience in the accounting field. Dawn left the medical field in 1994 to pursue a career in accounting and over the last twenty years she has worked in the Oil & Gas Industry, Manufacturing and the Construction Industry. Dawn leads a team of four accounting technicians and is responsible for overseeing all the daily & monthly accounting activities for the NewRock Group of Companies
Julie Sweet - Office Manager
Julie joined the NewRock Developments team in July of 2011 after being in the banking industry for 6 years in the customer service field. Here at NewRock, Julie works as the Office Manager where she oversees the day-to-day duties of our reception and customer service team, National Home Warranty and Insurance administration, and helps to manage the sales teams for each project/site.
